ISO 9001:2008
This is a certification granted to companies that manufacture goods. It specifies that they have properly recorded all of their procedures and they meet with certain specifications. ISO stands for International Standards Organization or the International Organization for Standardization. The ISO is responsible for acting as an international standards organization that develops manufacturing and performance standards for a wide a variety of industries. The ISO sets standards in many businesses and technologies, including computing and communications. The ISO is a voluntary, non-treaty organization founded in 1946 which is responsible for creating international standards in many areas. Its members are the national standards organizations of the 89 member countries, including ANSI for the U.S.

Hubzone

As a HUBZone supplier, Pivot is very familiar with paperwork requirements for Department of Defense work and we can help you meet your small business content needs while delivering quality parts and providing excellent service. “Historically Underutilized Business Zone” The HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program stimulates economic development and creates jobs in urban and rural communities by providing Federal contracting preferences to small businesses. These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone) certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone. The company must also maintain a “principal office” in one of these specially designated areas.] The program resulted from provisions contained in the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997.
